The Nike Air Max 95 is a true classic. The silhouette, introduced in 1995, has an aggressive and tough appearance. It was also the first Air Max with the air unit on the front of the sneaker visible. An element that is now being used by the Air Max 2017. Now, twenty years after this shoe came for the first time, the Air Max 95 is still an eye catcher in the sneakerworld.
I’ve copped these beauties at Sneakerness Amsterdam, one of the most (maybe THE-most) popular sneaker event of Europe. After I already bought a pair of Nike Air Max 97 ‘Silver Bullets’, I could not leave these behind and took these home with me as well. You could say it was a very satisfying day going home with two pairs of sneakers. The 95’s I bought are designed with a Light Bone/ Barely Green-White colorway. Is as good as expected and of course of high quality. Suede and mesh top with synthetic overlays for comfort, support and ventilation. Lightweight midsole over the entire length for damping.
The sneakers have a visible air-sole unit for maximum shock protection. The unique design, combined with the familiarity of the Air Max series, makes this an instant favorite as soon as you’ve got it.
